Risk is not the same for everyone
Saliva flow, diet, medications, medical conditions, previous restorative history, and technique all shape your individual risk. A patient taking medications that reduce saliva has a very different decay risk than someone who does not, even with identical brushing habits.
Recall intervals and preventive measures should reflect that difference rather than a fixed schedule applied to everyone.
